Preliminary Privacy Notice

We have updated our Privacy Notice to reflect changes we have made to strengthen your privacy rights. This is part of our commitment to be transparent about how we use data and keep it secure.

We are your Gardeners, Garden Care Services Ltd, based at the above address. We hold personal data in relation for the services that we carry out for you. This data consists of name, address, email and phone numbers.

We will not, unless specifically authorised by you, or anyone acting for you (if it applies to them), make any of this information available to any other companies or individuals for any other purpose. The information we hold on file is specifically to identify you, so we can carry out the gardening work at the correct address and keep a record of visits carried out.

We then invoice you after, for work carried out. We hold no financial details for our customers and if they call to pay, we put the payment straight to our machine which does not store details. Payments into our bank are not via Direct Debit but via Standing Order which are set up by the customers. These Standing Order payments are displayed on our bank statement with the name and any reference the customer or bank adds. The bank statements are secured in a locked, alarmed office.

Payments by cheque are entered into a book with the name and invoice number or address if provided. This is also stored in the same locked, alarmed office. When the data is no longer required by ourselves we will delete it. We have installed an upgrade to our software programme which allows us to do this.
